Company Overview — Musubi Farms Ltd

Musubi Farms Ltd stands proudly as Uganda’s largest producer of Hass avocados, cultivating over 100,000 trees across 2,500 acres in the fertile lands of Mayuge District. At the heart of our operations is a commitment to sustainable farming, powered by advanced irrigation and a meticulously structured 12-block harvesting system that guarantees consistent,
year-round production.

In 2023, we expanded our value chain with the establishment of Musubi Agro Processors Ltd in Buikwe District, Najjembe Division. As Uganda’s first large-scale avocado oil processing facility, we specialize in premium, export-grade Hass avocado oil—catering to the rising global demand in culinary, cosmetics, and health industries.

Certified by Global G.A.P, Musubi Farms adheres to the highest international agricultural standards, ensuring quality, safety, and traceability from seed to shelf. Together, Musubi Farms and Musubi Agro Processors form an integrated farm-to-market powerhouse, championing sustainability and excellence at every step.

Through our advanced irrigation systems and structured block harvesting model, we ensure consistency, freshness, and traceability in every avocado that reaches your table.

Avocado Oil

Musubi Agro Processors specializes in the extraction of crude avocado oil from premium-grade Hass avocados grown at Musubi Farms. The oil is cold-pressed to preserve its natural nutrients and is currently exported in its unrefined form for industrial and cosmetic applications. Plans are in place to introduce local refining and packaging capabilities, aimed at increasing value addition and opening up new markets for export. This initiative reflects our long-term commitment to agro-industrial development and sustainable use of Uganda’s agricultural resources.

Nurseries & Seedlings

True-to-type Hass avocado seedlings are the foundation of a productive orchard, and access to reliable planting material is key to long-term success. Our six nurseries across Uganda are dedicated to producing healthy, grafted seedlings that are ready for the field — with a combined annual capacity of 945,000. From the high-output Najjembe Nursery (360,000 seedlings/year) to regional hubs in Rukiga, Kabale, Gayaza, Kyenjojo, and our main farm in Mayuge, each location is managed by experienced teams focused on quality and consistency. Sustainability & Community Empowerment Our approach to sustainability goes beyond responsible farming — it extends to nurturing communities and creating lasting impact. Through initiatives like the Texol Gardening Project, we support schools and institutions in growing Hass avocado trees, fostering environmental awareness and long-term food security. At the same time, our operations generate meaningful employment across rural areas — from nursery staff and field workers to agro-processors and transporters. By combining sustainable agriculture with job creation and community engagement, we are building a value chain that benefits people and the planet.
